I LOVE THE FARM! I’m a fourth generation Canadian farm girl. I grew up loving the camaraderie and family connectedness of the farm as well as the wide open space and the independence they gave me. When I married my high school sweetheart, we moved into our local village and spent 15 years raising our family there. Still, I never stopped dreaming of living on the farm again. When the opportunity, almost 20 years ago, to get more involved in the farm arose my husband and I jumped in with both feet. We moved our family out of our little village to my husband’s family farm to farm alongside my parents, my brother and his children.

About 10 years ago, we added a couple of sheep to fulfill our youngest child’s “lifelong dream” of becoming a shepherd. A few years later, his passion faded—but I was hooked. What began as a small hobby quickly became a passion. Today, I’m focused on building sustainable practices, like rotational grazing, to care for the land that has been passed down through generations.

I grew up eating lamb and now I strive to provide quality pasture raised lamb to families that value healthy locally raised food.
